"A boy who lived in Venice, Italy.
A teenager who traveled to China – and came back twenty-four years later.
The author of a travel book that inspired Christopher Columbus

Marco Polo was seventeen when he set out for China . . . and forty-one when he came back! More than seven hundred years ago, Marco Polo traveled from the medieval city of Venice to the fabled kingdom of the great Kublai Khan, seeing new sights and riches that no Westerner had ever before witnessed. But did Marco Polo experience the things he wrote about . . . or was it all made-up? "

Viva Italia! The Passion of Italian Cinema

Overflowing with the sensual pleasures of Rome, this enchanting film could be called ROMA in homage to the realm of Maestro Federico Fellini's cinematic art, he who called Rome "the Internal City" of soul-searching.

Like one of Fellini's heroes, Jep (the world discovers actor Toni Servillo), thinks about how his love of Roman high life and the idea of Beauty shaped his path in life. He's just turned sixty-five, and long ago he published a serious novel, but now he's most known for leading an endless party of socialites, intellectuals and artists. Maybe its not too late to pick up his pen again, and still enjoy the sunset over the Coliseum. Winner of twenty-four international awards, including Best Foreign Film Oscar.

Original Language Title:The Great Beauty
Director:Paolo Sorrentino
Country:Italy
Year:2013
