La commissione Migrazione, Diversità ed Integrazione intende:
Documentare la presenza italiana negli stati del Pacific Northwest registrando la trasformazione avvenuta all’interno della comunità italiana stessa attraverso la narrazione orale, digitale e visiva.
Farsi portavoce nel nostro territorio dei processi di integrazione che hanno cambiato radicalmente la società italiana tramite iniziative culturali, film festival, presentazioni di artisti e scrittori rappresentanti delle seconde generazioni.
Proporre nuove opportunità di aggregazione affinché l’associazionismo di stampo tradizionale possa confrontarsi e rapportarsi con la realtà italiana odierna.
Adoperarsi affinchè il multiculturalismo italiano sia presente, percepito e capito anche nelle comunità degli italiani residenti all’estero e la tradizione si integri con le nuove realtà che caratterizzano l’Italia di oggi.
Proporre iniziative mirate a superare il semplice associazionismo e a rafforzare i rapporti tra membri delle varie ondate migratorie presenti nel territorio.

Document the Italian presence in the Pacific Northwest states by recording the transformation that took place within the Italian community through oral, digital and visual narration.
Be a conduit in our communities for the integration processes that have radically changed Italian society through cultural initiatives, film festivals, presentations by artists and writers representing the second generations.
Create opportunity so that traditional associations can confront and relate to today’s Italian reality.
Strive to ensure that Italian multiculturalism is present, perceived and understood also in the communities of Italians residing abroad and that tradition is integrated with the new realities that characterize Italy today.
Propose initiatives aimed at overcoming simple associations and strengthening relations between members of the various migratory phases present in the area.
